Tempest Looks Like Quartz, But It¢®?s State-of-the-Art Solid Surface
New Samsung Staron offers virtually endless fabrication possibilities for kitchens and baths
LOS ANGELES – Today¢®?s kitchen and bath market demands durable surfacing materials that are hygienic and offer almost limitless design possibilities. Samsung Staron gives kitchen and bath designers such a product through its new patent-pending product Tempest, a solid surface alternative specifically designed to look like natural stone and quartz. Tempest provides all the features and benefits of a solid surface, as well as a myriad of fabrication possibilities. To view the new Tempest line at the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show (K/BIS), May 8 to 10 in Las Vegas, visit the Staron booth, #C6607.
¢®”ĘTempest is a unique and versatile surfacing material,¢®”¾ notes Dale Mandell, national sales manager for Staron Surfaces. ¢®”ĘThere¢®?s a new aesthetic with Tempest that is like nothing else we¢®?ve offered. While it has the look of natural quartz, it still offers the practicality of solid surface, making it ideal for any residential or commercial application.¢®”¾
The Visual Difference – It¢®?s in the Depth
Inspiration for Tempest stemmed from the need for a surfacing option that provides the aesthetic of natural quartz and stone with the properties of solid surface. The result is a new generation of surfacing that offers a unique visual depth through larger, translucent particulate randomly dispersed throughout the material.
Practical Beauty – Offering What Stone Can¢®?t
Despite its quartz-like appearance, Tempest allows benefits that stone and quartz surfaces don¢®?t, including its seamless appearance and nonporous, hygienic properties. Additionally, Tempest surfaces can be fabricated in to configurations nearly impossible with stone, including fully coved backsplashes and seamless integration with Staron sinks and bowls. Insets and patterns can also be incorporated into the surface for added aesthetic appeal and maximum customization.
The 10 Staron Tempest colors include Horizon, Shell, Rattan, Caraway, Russet, Cinnamon, Sierra, Dapple, Milestone and Coffee Bean. In addition to these, Staron also offers 62 colors in its Staron Solid Surface line, 14 colors of Staron Quartz, as well as all-acrylic Staron sinks and bowls.
Staron Tempest is available throughout North America via a network of authorized distributors. Visit the Staron booth, #405, at the Surface Fabrication and Design Expo to view all of the Tempest colors and find a distributor in y |
