Overview
starex Transparent ABS has excellent transparent characteristics, good processability and good physical properties such as impact strength and modulus. starex Transparent ABS could be widely applicable to products requiring both transparency and strength, such as electric and electronic parts, OA devices and toys.
Features
1) Transparency
The transparency of starex Transparent ABS is similar to that of the SAN or GPPS resins, so it is used various applications requiring transparency. Also it is obtained stable, excellent transparency because it is rarely dependent upon molding temperature.
2) Mechanical Property
The impact resistance of starex Transparent ABS is similar to that of the general ABS. Because starex Transparent ABS CT-0510 has excellent flow, it is applied to the wide injection molding or products requiring surface intensity. And starex Transparent ABS CT-0520 is applied to the products requiring impact resistance.
3) Molding Workability
The flow of starex Transparent ABS is similar to that of the general ABS, so molding conditions of starex Transparent ABS are also similar to that of the general ABS.
4) Cooling
Free coloring is available for starex Transparent ABS, which has wider coloring range than the general ABS resins and shows an excellent coloring effect.
5) Processability
The starex Transparent ABS is able to secondary processability like for stamping, silk print, adhesion, painting, plating similar to the general ABS.
